Serengeti is Tanzania's oldest, largest and most popular national park carries the meaning of an endless plain as named by indigenous Maasai. The uniqueness of this plain among others is the natural international migration of nearly 3 millions wildebeests each year to and from Maasai Mara National Park in Kenya. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa whereby the big five animals such as Buffalos, Elephants, Rhinos, Leopards and Lions are among the entertainment features in the park.
